Maspero Mauro

Mauro is a Safety and Compliance expert with over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, demonstrating a proven track record in ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance in flight operations. 

He began his career as a military pilot in the Italian Air Force where he flew fast jets, transitioned to become a commercial pilot for Alitalia, and has flown a wide range of aircraft, including the ATR-72, Embraer E145, and Airbus 320. He holds both FAA ATP and EASA ATPL certifications.

He possesses an impressive technical background that encompasses various roles such as Technical Manager and Technical Pilot, and has completed numerous courses in CRM, TRE, Quality Manager, advanced SMS, and operational risk management. This enables him to manage safety programs, develop and implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

As the Safety and Compliance Manager, his skills include a deep understanding of aviation safety regulations and standards, including FAA, EASA, and ICAO requirements. Mauro has a strong grasp of safety management systems, the ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments, experience in developing and delivering safety training programs, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Mauro collaborates with Superba Consulting as a consultant to ensure regulatory compliance. He can provide safety oversight for operations and training to our clients, flight crews, and ground personnel. He can conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures, work with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local and international standards, manage the incident and accident investigation process, develop and implement emergency response plans, and monitor and report safety performance metrics to management.
